A straight forward and fun bathroom remodel from a few years back. Unfortunately, there are no before photos which I regret to this day. The house, in Anchorage, was built in the 50′s and the wall paper was of cowboys and prairie life. Top of the line cheese for the 50′s. Anyhow here is the finished product…
The marbles light color is a nice contrast to the dark granite floor tile with the counter as a nice transition between the contrasting tiles.
Brushed nickel plastic shower hardware looks great.
I include this to show the electrical inset into the tile. Too see more of this bathroom click here.

Memories! The person I learned remodling skills from was a genius at using space, small spaces. You stir so many wonderful memories of days now past. I did a built in bedroom wardrobe closet for a customer. 10″ from the ceiling down I framed in storage space with a series of flush fitting doors making storage space for items which were seldom used, or met seasonal needs. She was so delighted, and said; “Of all the years I’ve had work done in my home, you are the first to do such an innovative touch”. Such customer appreciation exceedes even what we profit from our labor of love. I am delighted to follow your twitter postings– I don’t do Facebook

Thanks for that. I just combined my twitter accounts but twitter really limits what I can show folks there. It’s too bad. I can’t keep up with having two of everything and was hoping to have my worlds collide there. This is the one I am currently using, fyi @MichaelJKnoche. Always appreciate your comments!

When combined, what you do on WP does show up in twitter, when someone click on the link, it directs them to your WP posting. Do your work as usual, and when you post a short lead will show in twitter which links to WP.

Hi, I’m nominating you for the Versatile Blogger award! If you care to accept, I’ll be posting the rules on my blog shortly. I just wanted people to know about your interesting blog which is about so much more than home construction.

Thanks so much. That is humbling. I am so busy right now that I have not had time to deal with awards. My other blog is kind of taking over….
